For instance, if I start my day with positive affirmations about my life then my mind will be in a better place and when negative things occur, I will more easily be able to overcome them.⁠ ⁠ You possess a positive mind when you can visualize your future and expect positive outcomes, it also helps you to see the best in others as well as yourself.⁠ ⁠ Let's strive for both!⁠ ⁠ Much of my positive thinking comes from time spent enjoying nature where I'm able to clear my mind of stress.⁠ ⁠ ✅ COMMENT Do you visualize your future? Your MIND is incredibly powerful.⁠ 🧠⁠ When I had colon surgery & was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2010, my doctor told me that my symptoms wouldn't return for 10 years. Just the subtle hint that they would return no matter what I did was enough for my brain to feed on the negativity of my digestive health.⁠ ⁠ After many tests & doctors visits, I decided to focus on my mental health, thinking and feeling positive about my body.⁠ ⁠ Stress increases Crohn's symptoms and limiting my stress was also a powerful tool for health.⁠ ⁠ My 10 year anniversary from surgery was last month and passing that "time" when I was told things would return was a powerful moment for my mental health. I cannot say enough for the power of comments and moments that get embedded in your mind and if you let them, take hold of your health and life.⁠ ⁠ Don't let negative thoughts ruffle your feathers or control your outcomes in life. #mindsetmatters⁠ ⁠ 📷#changeNfocus⁠ 📍St Marks National Wildlife Refuge, Florida
