welcome to @kensingtonpalace - the birthplace of Queen Victoria ✨👑 stepping foot into Queen Victoria’s childhood bedroom was truly eye opening, as I learned about the “Kensington System” - the strict set of rules she had to follow as a child. as a society, we often fantasize about what it would be like to be as a royal, but visiting the palace today made me think about how challenging it can be. many stories are often left untold from a royal’s perspective. the palace is full of sooo many surprises and so much inspiration is drawn from its designs - the gardens with Serpentine lake even inspired the story of Peter Pan! photographing Queen Victoria’s diamond tiara in the Jewel Room was definitely my favorite part of the day :) where should I go next?! 🫶👇 #kensingtonpalace #london #thingstodolondon #londonphotography #kensington #visitlondon #queenvictoria

from one oxford to the next…✨🇬🇧 we have officially landed in the UK and i can’t even begin to describe how special this past week has been. one of the reasons i decided to go to @uoftampa was because i listened to a student speak about her honors oxford experience at an accepted students day reception. i remember turning to my mom with the biggest smile on my face and telling her “i’m going to do that.” for the last 3.5 years, i have been working so hard at chasing my dreams, and let me tell you, your hard work will pay off. even if it takes years of uncertainty, it will work - but only if you take risks and believe in your ideas. i’m so excited to be doing independent research and work at @oxford_uni with my amazing tutors… we have some very cool projects in the work to officially take Chasing Cassidy to the next level! until then, enjoy these pics from this week :) 🌎🫶🦋
