Peach And Lime Margaritas!

But after scrolling through Pinterest and being inspired, I’ve come to love these Peach and Lime Margaritas almost as much as I love my Moscow Mules! I’m not particularly fond of sweet drinks as well as I avoid extra sugar whenever I can. And since summer is when the peaches are plentiful, this is a perfect way to use those extra ripe ones in your house! Depending on the type of consistency you want, you can add more ice (slushie consistency) or water (more liquefied).

What's in Store for June!

But even so, I always like to enter a new month with a mental refresh and go over my goals and what needs to be checked off my list for the month. Last weekend, we were fortunate enough to take a quick break from reality to venture over to St. Augustine for a short weekend getaway. So now that we’re back home, we literally have things going on every single week/weekend. After Chris comes home from the Keys, we have to drive to Bluffton, South Carolina for our engagement photos (yay!), meet with our caterer for food testing, picking floral arrangements, the works.

What's on My Bridal Shower Registry!

After researching on wedding etiquette, I’ve come to the best conclusion that the most proper and polite way to ask for money as a wedding gift is: 1) wording it politely on your wedding website (there’s plenty of examples on Google) and 2) asking your family and wedding party to spread the word to everyone that’s invited. At the wedding, Chris and I will have a special box where people can safely place their envelopes and write a sweet note to the bride and groom. This is due to the fact that the shower is mainly given so that the bride can receive more personal gifts, household gifts, etc. However, this doesn’t mean that you should register for certain gifts because it’s what you’re expected to register for.

The Southern Millennial

He was currently living in Daytona Beach, Florida at the time (2 hours away from Gainesville). that I truly didn’t want to leave my job in Gainesville and offered to sell his home so we could live in between Daytona and Gainesville. We’re still currently trying to sell Chris’s house in Daytona My family happens to also live in Salt Springs and are kind enough to let me stay with them during the week while I work (it’s an hour long commute one way).
