I have wanted to interview Andrew for over a year. He has a deep love and appreciation for good food and good people, which I strongly relate to. In this interview we discuss the ups and downs of NW Elixirs, how it came to be and why everyone thought business was booming when it wasn’t. Andrew has many passions , many hobbies and many revenue streams but at the end of the day he remains “chef”.

You won’t need your morning coffee with this ray of sunshine! We met 7 years ago in an AA meeting and after the first time I heard her talk In this interview we will discuss why she decided to leave her comfy job with the City of Portland as a Crime Analyst and the fear that came up with that, how she got back into dating and stopped picking a-holes , how she landed a spot on the news(steps you can use too), the work she does now to help other women, the book she is working on and a WHOLE lot more.

She was working at New Seasons before she single handedly started her own business. She is incredibly humble, a bit shy(making it very hard to find photos of her! 🙂 ), and making a positive impact with the work she is doing in the world! just HOW she went from New Seasons to have several employees in her own success business. Her own journey through grad school, studying Tibetan language, being a translator to living in PDX and being a personal trainer and so much more!

so I got to learn new things about her, like the fact that she worked at Victoria’s Secret?!?! Katie has since parted ways with Tjs and is now living in a bus with her boyfriend and two dogs, yes two. Enjoy this interview as we discuss exactly how she transitioned from working at Victoria’s Secret to living in a bus, just hoping for a weekly (or bi weekly) shower. How she and her boyfriend manage to not murder eachother in such close living quarters, what it is REALLY like living on the road and more.
