Doing something kind for others can take on many forms. I'm in awe of all the masks that are being made to keep us all safe, and I love hearing about how so many people are going above and beyond to ensure their family, friends and neighbors are taken care of. ⁣⁣ ⁣ While we've been sheltering in place, I've been trying to do little things to help my own family out. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This amazing little niece of mine used to come over once a week so we could read together. She's learned how to read on her own since her last visit, and now I try to get on FaceTime with her as often as possible to have her read to me. I love seeing her face, and she gets some special Auntie time to tell me all about what's going on in her house. It's not the same as being together, but it's absolutely the next best thing!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We're all #inthistogether, and @VisibleMobile is continuing to encourage acts of kindness with their #visibleactsofkindness movement. This girl embraces technology like it's part of her DNA. ⁣ ⁣ {#BrandPartner} Last month I had given my son Haiden a Gizmo Watch but he was (surprisingly) something of a reluctant user. When I asked if Piper could give it a try, he handed it over to her. He's been happily watching her use it to its full potential. ⁣ ⁣ If Haiden was reluctant, Piper is 100% an enthusiastic adopter! She jumped at the chance to put her morning routine items into her Gizmo to-do list and she loves checking them off every day. She tracks her fitness with the step counter. She texts me to ask "What's for dinner?" every day she's not home to ask me in person. She checks in with her location all the time, because she thinks it's so cool that her watch has the ability to communicate with me. ⁣ ⁣ What do I love most about Piper using the Gizmo watch? It's kind of amazing to see my easily-distracted daughter take over her morning routine without me asking her to do everything that needs to get done before school. The checklist has times on it, so it buzzes when she needs to move onto the next thing.
