This is a good option if you only have a day, but I personally don’t think one day in Chefchaouen in enough because it’s such a beautiful city to recharge in and wander about endlessly. *Note: The water here (and probably at all hotels/Airbnbs in Chefchaouen) doesn’t get very hot because it’s fresh water from the mountain. *The Airbnb is right next to the mosque meaning you’ll be woken up by the Call to Prayer at 5 AM, but it’s fairly easy to fall back asleep with the nice breeze coming through the linen curtains. We didn’t have time to fit in a hiking trip, because we chose to spend our extra time socializing with the locals, but there is a lot of good hiking near Chefchaouen since it’s nestled into the Rif Mountains.
