A fun DIY hummingbird feeder! Easy to make and pretty too!! Comment “DIY” for the full tutorial. Have you made something like it before??

Encouraging someone and praying with them is always a good idea ❤️ See #azurefarmkindness for more ways you can be kind to others this week!!

I will never not be obsessed with goslings!! Do you agree?? They follow Ava everywhere!

🌸Chive Blossom Vinegar! It’s a must for me this time of year! Delicious in salads, marinades, and more!! Remove stems Fill desired jar size with washed blooms Cover with distilled white vinegar Store in a cool dark place for 2 weeks Discard blooms Your vinegar is ready!! Have you made this?? I belive in doing seasonal activities that connect us with nature and give us something to look forward to each year. If you have my book, Simple Country Living, you can find this recipe and more for spring on page 31.

Here’s my weekly recap in pictures! Which one is your favorite?? 1. Ava and Alfie- each day Ava spends time with him and it is the cutest ever 2. The seedlings in the greenhouse are ready to be planted!! If you look closely you can see the guineas through the glass 3. The garden in spring might be my favorite. We’ve got garlic, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, beets, carrots, potatoes, lots of herbs, and more currently growing. 4. My friend took this sweet picture of Ava with the goslings we hatched in the incubator. 5. Inside the house we have 2 different brooders and Georgia the cat takes full advantage of warming herself by the light daily. 6. I got some new coveralls from @duluthtradingcompany and they just might be my favorite! 7. Went to the strawberry patch with my favorite girl. It’s a tradition every year. 8. Lots of lettuce growing in the garden and Butter lettuce is a favorite. If you harvest from it regularly you’ll have lettuce for a couple months from the same plant. 9. The outdoor baby goslings a few hours after hatching. Perfection

I feel images of these goslings being born and their mom Gonzetta needed to be a permanent spot on my feed! Don’t you agree?? The 2 male geese have also been the best dads and they’ve even taken in our 2 rescue ducks as part of the family. It’s quite fun to see them all together. What JOY they bring! Which picture is your favorite?

IG live- 🌱A greenhouse update! 🌱Tips on planting tomatoes 🌱Key to crunchy pickles 🌱Nasturtium in the garden & more!!

New baby goslings hatched by Gonzetta the goose! I will never cease to see how amazing animals are and how they care for their young!! We have a total of 8 baby goslings right now! So fun!

NEW Podcast out! I was recently on a plane ride with Jared and he was doing all sorts of weird breathing which made for some good laughs. But I also leaned a lot of valuable information on breathing!! Listen to learn more about ways to improve your health through breathing properly plus some other fun things along the way. Comment “podcast” to listen or watch full episodes on YouTube

Chive Blossom Dip- one of my favorites for this time of year!! It’s SO good! If you don’t have chive blossoms just use chives! 1/2 a cup sour cream or yogurt 2 tsp fresh chives (chopped) 3-4 Chive blossoms 2 tsp fresh parsley (chopped) Pinch of salt 1/2 tsp of garlic powder 1 tsp honey Salt to taste Mix all together and serve with bread, or avocado toast, or on sweet potatoes, etc. Remember that eating seasonal foods is the way to go for all the added health benefits! Also, edible flowers are SO beautiful!

Good morning friends!! I was away for a few days and didn’t post on social media. It’s important to make time and be present with those we surround ourselves with. Remember this next time you’re at a gathering and reach for your phone. Trust me, I have to remind myself often ❤️ For more see #azurefarmkindness

I had the opportunity to be on the @thestupidquestionspodcast with my friend Seth and we talked all the things!! The 3 day experience which we both went to in February + my parents story of how they came from Cuba and lots more! Fun announcement, I am going to be part of a triathlon relay in June! Ahhhh! We are calling it team #FarmStrong I’ve been “training” and will bring you along over the next weeks! Listen now wherever you get your podcasts!! And I’ll link it in my stories. Have any of you ever done a triathlon, marathon, or similar?? I need ALL the tips!

Friends!! Welcome to another weekly recap in pictures! It was a busy week. Let me know which is your favorite and who you want to see more of next week! 1. 2 baby goslings were born last weekend! A girl that came from our own Gonzo and Gonzetta the other, a boy, hatched from eggs I had ordered from @wildoakfarms 2. The garden is blooming in spring and it is so peaceful and life giving to be in it. Yes, there are weeds coming, but none the less it is my therapy being out there. 3. I have been doing farm chores for a LONG TIME, yet I still go out in my pajamas and sandals in the rain because why not. Had to pull my pants up cause there was mud every where. #farmlife 4. Blossom the donkey is STILL pregnant! Her and Honey were in with the boy donkey Buddy for a while, so I am not sure when a baby donkey started cooking. So we wait. She looks ready, but we wait. 5. Ava and Alfie- literally BFF’s. He runs to her every time he sees her. 6. Mom and Dad night out for the premiere of @thehopefulmovie Nice to dress up every once in a while. 7. Holding a baby gosling is like holding a little piece of heaven on earth. Seriously though. 8. Ava and Jared riding int he back of the truck. I love these moments. 9. You see that duck in the middle of the picture. That’s one of our new Tween ducks! They grow SO fast! Among other things this week there was the eclipse viewing, a power outage, the goats got out and had to be chased back into their area, a new garden bed was planted, lots of home cooking, and moments in between. Up next, Strawberry picking NEXT WEEK! Get ready for all the strawberry recipes.
