Highlights

Alhamdulilah for a year filled with Armaniika adventures! Drove through 26 states (pretty sure it’s more, but who’s counting? 😜), visited some places twice, and had countless β€˜upstate runs’ (basically our version of Target runs)! Life would be boring without my travel partner, soulmate, and professional hassler. Shoutout to my husband who I could marry hundreds of times with different outfits (LOL). From dreaming big to making those dreams come true, it’s been a journey that’s brought us closer to God and reminded us to stay humble. Here’s to another year of dreams and adventures! πŸŒŸπŸš—

Yellowstone is like a real-life animal show! 🌲🦌 You can see big bison strolling around and even catch a glimpse of sneaky wolves. Bears, elk, and sometimes coyotes all in one place! 🐻🦌 It’s a wild adventure you don’t wanna miss. Yellowstone turns nature into a magical animal party! πŸžοΈπŸ“Έ #

Armaniika Adventure πŸš— Lamar Valley – the dreamy oasis in Yellowstone! 🌾 Okay, so let me set the scene for our Yellowstone adventure. We roll up to the park, full of excitement, and all we’ve been hearing about is this mystical valley with bison vibes. Problem? We have zero clue where this bison is hiding. Cue the disappointment when our first attempt doesn’t bring us face-to-face with these furry giants. But fear not, my fellow adventurers! Prothom to the rescue! The next day, gathered with some internet magic, he unveils the secret bison lair – Lamar Valley. Now, here’s the kicker: it’s nowhere near the grand prismatic wonders, and it slaps an extra two hours onto our road trip to Grand Teton. Time crunch? Oh, you betcha! Ideally, everyone should soak in Yellowstone’s wonders for a solid week, but we’re on a turbo mode mission. Fast forward to the day we hit Lamar Valley. Picture this – wide-open spaces, rolling hills, and bison roaming like they own the place. It’s like stepping into a wildlife fairy tale. We drive through, windows down, and the bison are giving us the classic Yellowstone welcome. It’s a bison party, and we’re the lucky guests! Squeezing all of Yellowstone’s magic into just two days is a challenge. But guess what? Challenge accepted and conquered! We ticked off every box on our Yellowstone wishlist, from geysers to canyons, all in a whirlwind two-day adventure. So, there you have it – Lamar Valley, the unexpected star of our Yellowstone show. Bison, breathtaking views, and a detour that was so worth it. Who knew a bunch of bison could make a valley feel like a dreamy escape? Yellowstone, you’ve got our hearts! ❀️🏞️

Armaniika Adventure πŸŒ„ So, picture this: we wake up with a plan to hit Grand Teton National Park. The catch? The weather's scorching, and the thought of a 6-hour round trip in the blazing heat is making us question our life choices. Prothom, however, drops some wisdom and says if we bail now, we'll regret it back in the NYC. So, despite the heatwave, we buckle up, hit the road, and boy, was it a journey! Now, here's the cool part. Grand Teton is like the stylish cousin of Yellowstone. To get there, you gotta go through Yellowstone NP first. But let me tell you, the drive is no ordinary drive. The scenic route is like Mother Nature showing off her A-game. The views are so jaw-dropping that we're officially convinced – pictures lie. Seriously, nothing prepares you for the real deal. We pull over at every viewpoint on our way to the main event – the Alps of the Rocky Mountains. And let me just say, when we got there, our jaws hit the floor. The view was pure magic, better than any postcard image of the Alps. Nature's beauty is on a whole other level, my friend! Now, after soaking in all that natural wonder, we hit the visitor center. The debate rages on – should we tackle a trail or not? We grab a drink, chill for a bit, and just soak in the vibe. As the sun decides to give us a break from its scorching antics, we head to the lake. The view? Insane! Now, here's a tip from road-weary travelers: when the road trip fatigue hits, a lakeside chill is the ultimate remedy. After a quick leg soak and a moment of lakeside zen, we end the day on a high note – a sunset surrounded by the majestic mountains. It was one of those experiences that make you thank your lucky stars you didn't choose Netflix and chill at the Airbnb. The sun takes a bow behind the mountains, and we look at each other with a silent "thank goodness we didn't miss this." So, there you have it – our day at Grand Teton NP. A scorching start, a stunning drive, a debate at the visitor center, a lake chill session, and a sunset to remember. Thankful we took the jump. Adventure, my friends, is always worth it! πŸš—πŸžοΈ

Armaaniika Adventure πŸš— We kicked off our Yellowstone day a bit later than usual to ensure we were energized for the long adventure ahead.
