Easy Fire Roasted Poblano Crema for Carnitas

Fire-roasted poblanos are the key to this fresh and vibrant crema that is perfect spooned over carnitas or an abundance of other things! Like tonight, when I grabbed Curly’s BBQ Sauceless Pulled Pork that I picked up in the refrigerated meat area of the market (you know, next to the fresh cuts where they also have mac and cheese and other quick solutions ready to grab) out and whipped up some tacos for a friend that dropped by. One of the easiest recipes to make, you only need fresh poblanos, cilantro, garlic (optional), lime juice, crema, and salt. If you’ve tried my Fire Roasted Poblano Crema Recipe or any other recipe on GirlCarnivore.com please don’t forget to rate the recipe and let me know where you found it in the comments below.

Foil Wrapped Carne Asada Nachos

Please read my Perfect for the campfire, these loaded nachos are layered with all the fixings; freshly grilled carne asada smothered in cheese, and cooked in an aluminum foil pack right on the coals before being pulled high with your favorite toppings. This recipe starts with a simple citrus marinade for the flank steak of orange juice, jalapeno, oil, spices, lime juice, and cilantro which can be made ahead of time and stored in a resealable ziplock container in the cooler or fridge until ready to grill. If you don’t have fresh grilled carne asada for this recipe, you can substitute store-bought carne asada, often preseasoned and found at the meat counter. Classic Carbonara with Prosciutto

In this iconic carbonara recipe, all you need are some fresh quality ingredients and your minutes away from a romantic meal! Adding some cured meat, shaved hard cheese, and freshly ground black pepper go a long way to enhancing the luxury of this recipe. For iconic carbonara, you only need pasta, egg yolks, cured ham, quality cheese, black pepper, and salt. But for this, I used Prosciutto di San Daniele, a 13-month dry-aged ham that only exists in the picturesque climate of San Daniele del Friuli from Italian breeds.

Quick Skillet Lasagna

If I don’t short cut completely and just make quick meat sauce, this easy recipe for skillet lasagna is pretty dang perfect. that tastes amazing when made ahead and left to allow the depth of flavors to mingle for hours, this one-pan dinner can be made on a busy weeknight and is a very good alternative when you’re rushed for time! So you need noodles, a chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrot, sliced mushrooms, ground sausage, ricotta, egg, herbs, the Girl Carnivore Over Easy spices (purely a bonus flavor but YUM) spinach, and mozzarella. Have ground beef to use, or ground pork, add in some extra Over Easy spice blend and a pinch of salt to the beef
