The #schuletüte or School Cone in English. ✨ Kids in Germany receive a cone shaped container on their first day of school full of school supplies and treats to make the first day back to school extra special!! You can buy themed cones in German stores that come prefilled or you can make your own. Vida didn't get to attend first grade in Germany like we had hoped, so I made her one for her first day of German Kindergarten to start off a new tradition for us. ✨ I made this cone by rolling up a big piece of poster board into a cone and painting polka dots on it with paint and using an eraser to create the dots. Filling it is the best part.
