Inhale, Peace and happiness… #nature #waterfall #happy #chile #naturelover #solofemaletravel #hikingtheglobe #exploretheworld #mountains #wilderness #wildandfree

Hey Everyone! There’s some new faces here so I thought I’d take a moment to share a little about me if you’re new here. ⁣ I grew up in the mountains of New Hampshire, surrounded by lakes, rivers and wildlife and fell in love with nature from an early age. I competed in gymnastics, track, diving and skiing in high school and college and tried to make the 2012 Olympic trails in the pole vault. I have lived in 7 states, worked in several countries and live and breath adventure and exploration. ⁣ I have worked as a stunt woman for over a decade and simultaneously launched a second career as a travel host and YouTuber while working in TV and Film. ⁣ I have a TV Show on PBS called Alice’s Adventures on Earth and also just wrote my first book on Happiness. ⁣ ⁣ I want to inspire more people to learn about nature and why we are such important pieces of protecting the planet while also sharing my love for adventure and exploration. ⁣ ⁣ If you’re new to the channel or just want to say hello, share something about yourself and drop it down below. ⁣ ⁣ #intro #youtube #gymnast #tvseries #nh #vlogger #tvshows

Addicted to nature, mountains, and the kind of adventures that challenge you mentally and physically. Challenges that cause you to learn, grow and change in ways only the wilderness can cause. #solotravel #naturelover #natureaddict #hikingtheglobe #patagonia #solofemaletravel

Embark on a journey through the breathtaking vistas of Patagonia National Park with @exploratravel Patagonia, where every moment unveils nature’s wonders. 🏞️ From encounters with guanacos, pumas, and the majestic Andean condor soaring above, to the tranquil beauty of the Chacabuco valley and crystal clear lakes, and rivers, your stay supports the conservation goal of preserving 10 million hectares of pristine land. Built with natural stone and local materials Explora Lodge is the only place to stay within the park unless you’re camping and gives you unfettered access to the park. You are paired with a guide from the lodge for daily adventures of hiking, kayaking, biking and more. Enjoy meals at the main lodge while watching animals from the picturesque windows and fully take in this marvelous scenery. #ExploraPatagonia #ConservationChampions #chile #patagonia #travelchile #rutadelosparques

Did you know we have 600,000 bridges in the USA. They help us get across rivers and canyons, over other freeways and sometimes even across the ocean. We drive or walk on top of them all the time but not usually underneath. But in New River Gorge National Park you can do just that! Across the tallest single span arch bridge in the western hemisphere that also happens to be 3,030 feet across. It’s called @bridgewalkwv and if you decide to do it you’re hooked into the longest single cable safety system in the world and sent out on a catwalk to see the park from a Birds Eye view and I have to say it was pretty cool. #bridgewalk #newrivergorgebridge #newrivergorge #wv #westvirginiaphotography #adventuretravels #solotraveler

The Aysen Region in Chilean Patagonia is home to glaciers, epic mountain peaks, turquoise rivers and lakes and a few national parks. ⁣ The famous dirt road of the Carretera Austral cuts right through it allowing tourists and locals to drive, bike or walk through its core and take in the stunning scenery. ⁣ ⁣ #findyourpark #traveligram #instanature #instanaturelover #scenic #lakedistrict #landscapes #patagonia

I feel like February was over in the blink of an eye. Anybody else? It’s so easy to forget how much we can accomplish in just 30 days so here’s a little reminder to myself of all the things I did last month. #timeflies #february #hikingadventures #solotravel #stuntwoman

Here, a few of my favorite places to visit during spring time in California. 1. Anza Borrego Desert State Park not only is this place great for off rotors but come springtime this year. The wildflowers are absolutely amazing. There’s a fantastic hike out to a palm tree oasis as well and I’ve got an old video out on the YouTube channel if you wanna see more about it. 2. Sequoia and Kings Canyon national Park and the neighboring Sequoia national Forest. Make sure not to skip the national Forest if you come and see these two parks because in the spring time it’s full of wildflowers and there are ample places to camp on the river. 3. Joshua tree national Park with summertime temperatures in this park are passing 100° springtime is a fantastic time to come camp in the desert stargaze or look for some wildflowers in and around the park. 4. Catalina Island and the channel Islands. I’m recommending both of these, depending on how much adventure you’re looking for technically all part of the channel islands. Catalina has a bit more luxury and shopping and also great access to hiking and biking trails, while the channel islands are a bit more remote, so if you’re looking to kayak, or spend a day hiking on some touristed trails trip out to the island national park is a must. 5. The antelope Valley Poppy reserve if you want to come and see the puppies this is a great place to take a lot of colorful beauty. Just make sure you get there really early in the morning to beat the crowds. And please stay on the trails. 6. The central coast, a.k.a. SloCal this is certainly one of my favorite regions along the California coastline and springtime is fantastic with flowers blooming on the beach dunes and plenty of wildlife to see as well. There’s also hikes to waterfalls and up to fantastic overlooks where you can see the ocean flowers down below. There’s a ton more places to visit in Southern California in springtime but these are a few of my favorites. What else would you add to the list? #california #wildflowers #blooming #cali #bestofspring #explore #socal #visitsocal #slocal

I bet you didn’t know this….. You don’t have to invest thousands of dollars on camera equipment to get photos or videos just like this. I’ll let you in on a little secret that I use on almost all of my big trips where wildlife comes into play. Instead of buying a huge long lens for thousands of dollars, I actually rent one from @borrowlenses or my local camera shop which is called Sammy’s here in LA. When the trip is over I send it back in and save a ton of $$$ in the long run, while always getting the best and newest lens or camera body for my trip. My favorite lens I have rented to date was a 200-400 that I brought with me to Alaska to photograph bears. Ever wanted to get closeup wildlife shots but haven’t tried it yet. People love the Caribbean all year round with its beautiful beaches, cool evening breezes, poolside cocktails and its ability to leave us feeling utterly relaxed and disconnected from our lives at home. And no matter how stressed or upset I ever was, as soon as that plane touched Bahamian air space a smile and sense of elation would sweep over my body. While winter may be the most popular time to visit this area of the world, summer offers great savings, and while the temperatures may be warmer it can still be a great time to visit. A lover of the Caribbean I have yet to visit all of its wonderful and unique islands, so I teamed up with some of theand put together this list of theandthat
