📍Pinnacles National Park We came back to @pinnaclesnps but this time we took a 10 mile hike through to the other side of the park. Yes I said 10 miles and Charlie walked about 9 of them!! We are all so sore but it was so worth it. The spring bloom was absolutely beautiful; Charlie had to make sure she smelled all of the flowers and hugged a couple of trees. We sat under a tree next to a river and had some lunch. After lunch we climbed through a cave. We got trapped!❄️ It snowed more than anyone expected (we got a total of 6 feet) and we got trapped with out power for a few days. The campgrounds finally evacuated everyone today because we still don’t have power and there is another storm coming tonight. It definitely was an interesting and cold few days but we are out and safe.

📍Coast Guard Island My sister is in the Coast Guard and she took us aboard her ship. She gave us a tour of most of the ship, she also showed us the engines she works on and we got to see her fire gear. 📍Alcatraz Island What a cool place to visit! It was beautiful to see how much of the island nature reclaimed.
