Exploring mountains near Playitas on Fuerteventura is an absolute must for all nature lovers! The trails offer just the right amount of challenge, and the breathtaking views are simply unparalleled. π While my sports hotel had a plethora of activities, I found myself irresistibly drawn to the nearby mountains for a hike. ποΈ However, note to self: even on cloudy days, sun protection is a must. π Learned that the funny way with a lopsided sunburn!
In our next trip π we went to the next Canarie island Fuerteventura exploring the breathtaking landscapes π and stayed at a small place called Playitas nestled amidst majestic mountains. Playitas is probably most famous for those who are gearing up for Tour de France and other π² cycling marvels, because this place boasts an array of exhilarating cycling paths. It has a sports hotel with the same name Playitas Resort @playitasresort which not only houses a hotel but also features an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a spectrum of other sport engagements. It even has its own golf court. A great start point for our trip.

Our hotel provided π a unique and picturesque experience, surrounded by the iconic African baobab trees with parrots soaring through the air. It was an unforgettable stay.
