Tonightā€™s dinner was excellent! Since Iā€™ve moved to @southcarolina this is the first time Iā€™ve eaten Italian food. Tonightā€™s dinner was @sorelle_chs and everything was fantastic from the ambiance to the food. We started with the local yellowfin tuna, sungold tomatoes and Calabrian chili with fennel flower. Our second course was prosciutto with melon, and lastly I had Rigatoni Allā€™Amatriciana (with GF penne). My boyfriend got the homemade ricotta tortellini (unfortunately that isnā€™t available GF), but he said they were fantastic!! I will definitely be back!!

Itā€™s been awhile since Iā€™ve posted but I recently moved to South Carolina. The food scene in Charleston is unbelievable and probably the best food Iā€™ve eaten and too good not to share. Most places Iā€™ve eaten at so far have been gluten free friendly and if not they are willing to make any changes for you. Last night we ate at a place called #topsailrestaurant in Mt Pleasant SC. We sat outside which was very nice and thankfully there was a slight breeze. To start we had the Lobster deviled eggs with hollandaise sauce on the side. They were very good. For my entree I got the Sicilian swordfish with sautĆ©ed spinach, topped with house-made bruschetta and a balsamic glaze with a side of jasmine rice on the side. It was excellent! The swordfish was cooked perfectly and just melted in your mouth. I highly recommend if youā€™re ever in the area. #southcarolina #mtpleasantsc #glutenfree #foodie #foodscene #summer #charleston #glutenfreefood #glutenfreesouthcarolina

Feeling the winter bluesā€¦so for our Saturday night dinner I decided on a dish in anticipation of Spring. Tonightā€™s menu was Prosciutto and Fontina Stuffed Chicken with Spring Veggies and roasted potatoes. Super easy, gluten free and refreshing. Will definitely be making again in the near future! #glutenfree #glutenfreerecipes #dinner #eatingwell #delicious #healthyrecipes #glutenfreeeats #spring

Saturday nights are usually our ā€œout to dinnerā€ nights, but lately we havenā€™t been too impressed with the quality of food. We decided to turn our Saturday nights into date night cooking. This week we decided on Crispy Rice Paper Dumplings courtesy of @iheartumami.ny which turned out absolutely delicious, and Asian Sloppy Joes. For the sloppy joes bun I used @udisglutenfree which worked out perfect. Both meals healthy and gluten free of course! This was my first time working with rice paper and it wasnā€™t as difficult as I thought it would be. Will definitely be using again!! Canā€™t wait to figure out what weā€™ll make next week.

Easy and healthy weeknight dinner idea!! Thanks @onebalancedlife for your delicious Shrimp Rice Bowl with Spicy Mayo recipe! I was getting tired of making the same meals week after week and this was definitely a nice change. Super fresh ingredients and no time at all to prepare. I used @traderjoes shrimp, shredded carrots, cucumbers, red onion (will definitely use pickled next time) and fresh cilantro and parsley. Plus the spicy mayo was an added bonus! I will be making this again #easyweeknightmeals #healthy #glutenfree #freshingredients #dinnerideas #notimeinthekitchen #delicious

First time making a frittata and it turned out pretty darn good. Frittataā€™s are so simple to make and a great choice for a weeknight dinner especially if you donā€™t want to spend hours in the kitchen during the week. Oh and all of the ingredients are Gluten Free! You can add whatever veggies you are in the mood for or any protein plus different cheeses and fresh herbs. Tonight I wanted to use whatever I had leftover in my fridge so I chose fresh spinach, tomatoes, green onion and fresh parsley. I added a little bit of nutritional yeast and also some shredded cheese. I also made roasted potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper and parsley. So simple but oh so yummy!! Will definitely be making this again. #glutenfree #glutenfreerecipes #frittata #easyweeknightmeals #healthyfood #freshingredients

Iā€™ve been in the mood for homemade nachos for weeks and this hit the spot!!! Absolutely delicious and took little time to prepare. All gluten free products. Grass fed ground beef, GF tortilla chips, Mexican cheeseā€¦topped with tomatoes, jalapeƱos, green onion and red onion with Greek yogurt and guacamole courtesy of @wholefoods. #glutenfree #glutenfreenachos #saturdaysnacks

Havenā€™t posted in awhile, but first Fall soup of the season #chickentortillasoup was a hit!! This soup was absolutely delicious, very flavorful and warmed my belly. I love soups that you can just throw together in a crock pot and let cook for hours. The recipe was super easyā€¦chicken breasts, diced tomatoes with chiles, onion, poblano pepper, corn (can use fresh or frozen), chicken stock, bay leaf, chili powder, cumin, paprika and garlic powder. When finished I topped with fresh jalapeƱo, avocado, cilantro, homemade tortilla strips and shredded cheese. #glutenfree #perfectfallsoup #homemade #easycrockpotmeals #soupseason

Just a few pics of the delicious food we had in #charleston. 10 hour pork carnita taco, lobster tostada, and a blueberry basil frozen drink šŸ¤¤, @167_raw . Old bay shrimp, a farmers plate and an heirloom tomato caprese salad @bourbonnbubbles . Charred wings with a Memphis dry rub @prohibition_taproom and lastly filet mignon from @hallschophouse . Not pictured were sweet and sour collard greens which were amazing from Halls Chophouse. What a great food experience!

I havenā€™t posted in awhile but this restaurant was just too good to not post about. @huskrestaurant was not only beautiful from the outside but the food was absolutely delicious. While nothing was labeled #glutenfree on the menu our waiter went through all of the items to let me know which were GF and there were a lot of options to choose from. We started with the baked skillet cornbread and an arugula salad with strawberries and blue cheese. For the entrees I had Grouper with new potatoes, mustard greens with leeks in a dill buttermilk broth. My BF had Confit duck leg with carrots, turnips, sweet peppers in a red curry sauce. This has to be one of the best meals Iā€™ve had. If your ever in the Charleston area this is a must try!!

Havenā€™t posted in awhile but this @wholefoodsglutenfree Hearts of Palm linguine is definitely something to post about. I was skeptical about trying it but was not disappointed! It will most likely replace regular pasta for me from now on. I paired it with homemade bolognese sauce using ground chicken meat which turned out super flavorful and hearty. Canā€™t wait to make again! (Sorry about the pictures they arenā€™t the best).

Sorry I havenā€™t posted in awhile but this Granola Butter is absolutely delicious!! Iā€™ve been putting it on my apples with a little bit of peanut butter for a snack everyday. The company is @kweenandco. Itā€™s #glutenfree #vegan and just contains gf oats, flax, olive oil, maple syrup, coconut oil and cacao powder. You could also put it in yogurt and even smoothies!! I highly recommend and they even have several different flavors. #yummy #snacktime #glutenfreesnacks #nutfree

Itā€™s been awhile since Iā€™ve been able to do a restaurant review so Iā€™m glad I was finally able to get out last night. We chose @ardanafoodanddrink in Warrington, PA. Itā€™s a fairly new restaurant that offers flavors of the Mediterranean. We sat outside in a small courtyard. I wasnā€™t able to see the entire restaurant, but from what I was able to see, it was casual and cozy. They have a good amount of GF choices on their menu. For my cocktail I started with the Cucumber Kiwi Martini which was very refreshing. For the appetizer we got the Char-grilled Chicken Skewer. It was ok, I felt that the chicken should have had a little more flavor but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. And yes you do only get one skewer! I also ordered the Village Salad which was cucumber, tomato, red onion and feta and that was delicious! Everything was super fresh and the tomatoes were so juicy. For my entree I had the Grilled Swordfish with Quinoa Tabbouleh Salad. Unfortunately the swordfish was way to fishy for me and I didnā€™t really enjoy it, but the Tabbouleh salad was very good. Even though I didnā€™t really enjoy my entree I will most likely give this place another try.

Tonightā€™s dinner šŸ™ŒšŸ» which I will definitely be making again very soon...Zesty Kale and Sweet Potato Bowl courtesy of @cookinglight !! This was absolutely delicious and filled with so many flavors that paired so well with each other. It included roasted sweet potatoes and red pepper, sautĆ©ed kale, toasted almonds with a hint of spice and for the topping cilantro, avocado, Cojita cheese and a mixture of olive oil, salt/pepper, lime juice and cilantro to drizzle on top. šŸ¤¤.

Tonightā€™s dinner (sorry not the best photos) Jerk Chicken Collard Wraps. My folding skills need a little practice so I decided to show you an ā€œopenā€ wrap. I made my own jerk seasoning and cooked the chicken on the grill. Inside was stuffed with red peppers, avocado and red onion. Not shown was a mixture of black eyes peas, fresh lime juice and Greek yogurt plus some of the jerk seasoning that you put on top of the chicken. It was super yummy and great for a hot šŸ„µ summers night. This one is a keeper šŸ‘šŸ»!
