The ascent to the temple was quite challenging as we had to climb up hundreds of stairs that were built along a cliff 🫣 Nonetheless, the view of the Nusa Penida sea from the top was simply breathtaking and made the effort all worth it 🥹🤓 ☀️ Goa Giri Putri Temple The next temple is located in the largest cave on Nusa Penida Island 😀 Goa Giri Putri is a very descriptive name for a temple built inside a cave on a hill dedicated to Shiva🌹 Shiva’s role is to destroy the universe in order to re-create it ❣️ Shiva is part, together with Brahma and Vishnu, of the triumvirate in charge of the creation, the preservation, and the destruction of the world 🌎 To enter the temple, you enter almost crawling through a very small passage. There is artificial light💡, so you will not remain in the dark. At the end of the Hindu ceremony, the priest will tie the famous Balinese red white black bracelet on your wrist. This bracelet is composed of three red, white, and black cords, which represent the three gods of the Trimurti : Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva ❤️🤍🖤 ☀️ Dalem Ped Temple The last temple will be our resting place before crossing back the next morning 🌅 This temple is visited by Hindus to ask for salvation, peace (salvation and peace), prosperity, and tranquility🕊 We rested in the wantilan (Balinese pavilion, a large wall-less hall), which was already occupied by dozens of people who would be staying there. 📍 Hansang Jimbaran I had a fun experience with my friend (again) 👭 We were planning on attending a festival in Nusa Dua, but unfortunately, due to heavy rain, it got canceled 🤭🌧 We were pretty bummed out and also starving after the long journey 😋 So, we decided to look for a nearby place to eat and stumbled upon a Korean restaurant @hansangbbq 🍖 The restaurant was quite spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating options🌼💕 We went for a package deal that allowed us to add anything we wanted for an hour 🤔😆 The staff was super friendly and the service was lightning-fast 😁✨️ They served us a wide variety of dishes which we both enjoyed thoroughly 🥰 - we were so full that we didn't end up adding anything extra, haha!😅🤭 What made the experience even better was that the food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch😍 Since we went for the package deal, the price was very reasonable too!🤑 Overall, we had a great time at Hansang Jimbaran and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some delicious Korean food 😋 😊 #balilivin #balirestaurant #balirecommendation #koreanfood #koreanbbq #balirestaurant #jimbaranbali

Balinese ceremony behind the scene 🤗 🎬 🌼 Some behind-the-scenes preparing for the Balinese ceremony, Galungan Day! 🌸 One of the things I often do is make 70 pieces of tumpeng (cone-shaped rice) 🔺️ Not easy but fun task! 🥰🌸 Some people believe that Bali has a lot of holidays due to religious ceremonies held here ✨️💕 However, in reality, there are no additional holidays for us 🤫😵 Especially on important occasions like Galungan Day, we spend 2-3 days preparing Banten (offerings), visiting various sanggahs (family temples), and also spending time visiting relatives 🏡 We rarely have time to relax during Balinese ceremonies 🫡🥹 But it's still fun because we, as Balinese, still practice Tri Hita Karana (three causes of wisdom) 🤍 The relationship between humans and God (the Creator)🤍, the relationship between humans to humans 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and the relationship between humans and the environment 💚 All these relationships have to be maintained to achieve harmony and prosperity 🥰😇 #baliculture #balilife #balilifestyle #balilivin #balinesegirl #balineseceremony

📍Katapapa, Canggu I just wanted to share my experience at @katapapacoffee with you ☕️ I recently visited their branch in canggu for the second time, and even though it's a bit of a trek from my house, it's totally worth it! 😍 They have three branches in Legian, Seminyak, and Canggu, so there are plenty of options to choose from ✨️ The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and my absolute favorite menu item is their pancakes 🥞💛 I've even come here to work a few times, and the atmosphere is perfect for getting stuff done 👩‍💻 The best part? Oh, I love telling stories about my furry family, Lucky!🐶 He's such a sweetheart☺️ Lucky is 1️⃣0️⃣ years old and he's grown to be such a sentimental and independent dog 🤭🥺 He loves nothing more than wreaking havoc on my bed, taking naps under the dining table or inside the bathroom, sitting like a goofball, and accompanying me on car rides 🚗 However, poor Lucky is terrified of lightning and darkness 🌩🌑😢 He gets stomachaches quite often and sometimes doesn't eat once a week🥺, whether it's due to his tummy issues or his sensitive nature🤭😌 But despite all that, Lucky is an absolute gem!😘😁 He's the sweetest dog I've had in almost a decade and such a beloved member of our family 🥰 #dogofinsta #dogselfie #doglife🐾
