One day I found myself having two pieces of content due on a random workday and the whole weekend before it rained so much I wasn’t able to get the photos done. Cut to me driving home for lunch and instead of eating lunch like a normal person I’m rearranging a room for photos. For a lot of people editing is a long process, and it make sense because editing can make or break a photo. I also love that with Lightroom, where my presets can be used, you can easily copy and paste the editing to multiple photos so they are all cohesive and edited instantly.
Let’s try this reels thing!✨ I’ve been trying to get back into a creative swing again and one of my favorite ways of getting some inspiration is by making a digital collage. Sometimes I need to finish up to-dos from the previous day or I need to think about what I want to get done for the day and make a list. Lately I find my lists have three types of tasks- something that has a deadline, something I need to create, or something I want to learn/understand better. I’ll then put on a YouTube video or a podcast discussing whatever it I want to learn more about while I create what I need to, whether it be a blog post, IG post, a graphic, or something fun and new. The day I was packing up my stuff in DC, an article popped up on my Twitter feed that told the stories of people in DC who were unable to afford basic necessities and rent. While my plans didn’t work out, other things have for me and that’s what I wanted to share with you today. I remember FaceTiming with my mom one night, in an apartment that I was so uncomfortable in, almost on the verge of tears because I was so willing to do anything to make things work, even if those things didn’t make me happy. I want you to know that you’re not alone if things aren’t working out for you because things haven’t worked out for me either.
