My first pickup was at JetBlue, then I came back the next day and did an Air Canada pickup and yet another trip to do the Air Canada drop-off. While there I was able to see the old TWA Terminal that I’ve used at least once on my trip to Cairo, Egypt (CAI) back in April 2001.

None of us alive now will be around when this happens again. As homage to the 2s, let's talk about flight 2. Flight 2 started with PanAm in 1947. They were the first to do round the world flights and Flight 2 is the Eastbound flight, Flight 1, Westbound. Back then, it took 14 days to fly 22, 170 miles, making several stops. Boy, would I love to do that. We should recreate it with today's airplanes. At one point, they used the DC-4 and the Connie to complete the journey. Boeing 747 First Commercial Flight #WhereisKerwin January 22, 1970 is the first time Pan Am flew the Boeing 747 commercially. It was also the airplanes commercial flight with passengers. Although, I’ve flown 180 airlines, I never flew the original Pan Am, and thus never flown their 747. The 747 became the long range workhorse. Nothing quite like it at all. 50 years after that flight they are still crossing oceans. I don’t really remember when I flew my first 747, I’m thinking it may have been Virgin Atlantic’s 747 to London from JFK in either 1994 or 1995. It was my first non-revenue trip to Europe. My happy place #WhereisKerwin I'm at Houston IAH airport again. Heading to NY-JFK on @jetblue. Am using my $100 voucher for a flight delay in October 2019. They actually sent the voucher without asking. Classy. So Amex is not paying me, but, this is really my happy place. I get to the airport early so I can stop in. JetBlue departs from Terminal A, the Lounge is in Terninal D, but its worth the trek. So fun thing. I can have a mimosa, but not Baileys on the rocks, unless I'm having Baileys in a coffee :). Which Airport Is Your Favorite? #WhereisKerwin Today, I'm flying on Delta Air Lines from New York's JFK Airport on an Airbus A220-100 arriving on a Beoing 757-200 from Las Vegas. As I'm flying Delta to Delta arriving in Concourse B and departing from Concourse C in Terminal 4. It's not too much of an issue. I boarded a shuttle bus from B to C. If I was say connecting to American Airlines, it would be a different story as they are located in a different terminal and would mean leaving security, taking a train and then re-entering security. In Miami, the reverse is true, American to American is fine, but it's a pain to go American to Delta or United. I'm frustrated by this each time I travel and I'm sure you are as well. So when you buy tickets on different airlines, remember to check the airport and figure out how much time you will need to make the connection happen especially if you check bags. Also, depending on the country and your citizenship, you may need a visa. What's your favorite airport? Have you had any connection frustrations in your travels? CES is so much fun. #WhereisKerwin I'm spending the week at CES, the largest consumer electronics show in Las Vegas. A nice lady from Ford asked me to pose with this Mustang. I didn't know what she was up to, but after doing some searches, I think they are promoting their new Mustang. It's actually a SUV, which is electric. What, no vroom, vroom? How could there be a quiet Mustang? I've only driven a Mustang once. I was in Hawaii and got an upgrade. It was actually quite nice. I popped the top down and enjoyed the moment.
