From the antique-looking candlesticks on the dining room table to the plush looking bed and exposed log walls, this place is perfect for the romantic in all of us – and even more perfect for a romantic getaway near Shenandoah (see what I did there?)! If you’re looking to get out of the house, it’s just a short drive to downtown Luray or to one of the Shenandoah National Park entrances. Finally, if you’re looking for a really cozy place to spend the weekend with your family or a group of friends, then you’ll want to check out Spotted Fawn Cabin, located in between the towns of Shenandoah and Grove Hill and a 30-minute drive away from the northern entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Well, you’re in luck, because this little Hobbit House is available to rent and just a short drive away from Shenandoah National Park!

How Solo Travel Can Change Your Life with Kristina Bullock [Girls Go Abroad Episode 015]

After catching the travel bug in college studying abroad in Australia and South Africa, she spent most of her twenties solo traveling the globe and exploring all seven continents. The travel bug first bit Kristina when she went on a 2-week travel study program to Australia over winter break. Throughout college, she went on several more trips with family and friends, and it wasn’t until she was 21 that she took her first HUGE solo trip. The family travels together regularly, and now that some of the kids are a bit older they’ve started incorporating them into the planning process, asking them where the want to go and planning trips based around what they’ve been learning in school.

How I’ve Been Prioritizing Self Care in Quarantine [Girls Go Abroad Episode 014]

Now, if you haven’t heard of the Miracle Morning before, it’s basically this concept that was come up with by Hal Elrod where you spend an hour, first thing in the morning, doing 6 things that are proven to improve your life and your day. I started with the affirmations for success that are provided as a part of the Miracle Morning book, and now for the month of June, I’ve curated my own set of affirmations focusing on love and romance, because I feel like that’s something that I need to work on at this current moment. Next up is reading, which is probably one of my favorite parts of the Miracle Morning routine simply because I’ve always loved reading, but have found it hard to dedicate time for reading anything other than academic readings for a long time. Depending on the day and how I’m feeling, I’ll either use the dedicated 15-20 minutes that are part of my hour-long Miracle Morning to do a short and simple practice, or I’ll take a little bit more time for myself and do a longer, full yoga practice.
