I recently stepped on skis for the first time ever! ⛷️ I didn’t ski growing up and never really considered learning as an adult. So when I got an invitation to try out a lesson with my daughter at Mad River Mountain @skimadriver (less than 1 hour outside of Columbus) I jumped at the opportunity. (Hosted) Our instructor, Jim, was very patient and helped us get comfortable on our skis before tackling any type of hill. If you are interested in learning to ski, I highly recommend giving it a try. This was my room at @lemeridienmaldives 🏝️ The highlight was the incredible deck and shower that overlooked the ocean. 💦 I’m a total sucker for a big shower, especially an indoor/outdoor shower. 😍 I paid ~55k Marriott points per night but I’ve seen the same room available for as low as 45k points per night. Yes, you can book an overwater bungalow in the Maldives using points!!! 🤩 I booked 6 nights at @lemeridienmaldives for 335,000 Marriott Bonvoy points (or ~55k points per night)! Had I paid cash, this stay would have cost over $5,000! 💳 I earned these points by putting my everyday spending on new credit cards and and earning the sign up bonuses.
