My level of excitement for another 90s brunch at @talkingcursivebrewing is unparalleled. So I put on my new Boy Meets World shirt from @just_bros_vintage, grabbed some friends, and headed to brunch this morning. Yes, I ordered the exact same thing I had last time because it is SO GOOD: the homemade French toast sticks made from brioche, served with vanilla bean cream cheese, cinnamon butter, and maple syrup for dipping. It also came with bacon and cheesy hash brown potatoes. My husband had the “Don’t L’Eggo of these Eggos” breakfast sandwich, while our friends had the “All That’s Good Burger” and the “Hangover Helper”, paired with the “Not Your Mom’s Cosmo” with a Pop Rocks rim and a grown-up Capri Sun. Cheers to #WineWednesday! It’s the perfect day to share one of the newest wineries I’ve discovered : @redtailridgewinery. This stunning winery is located in Penn Yan, NY, along the western shore of Seneca Lake and there are a few things that make it extra special: 🦅 The name Red Tail Ridge comes from the pair of red-tailed hawks that were spotted above the forest that was previously there. Red-tailed hawks are still seen soaring above the property often. 🪵 The trees that were cut down on the property were saved and repurposed to build the beautiful, brand new tasting room. (See the background of photos 2 and 3.) 🍇 The winemaker is a woman! Nancy Irelan has an extensive history in viticulture and is proud to be one of the females that makeup less than 18% of all winemakers. 🍷 Their Perpetuelle Change wine is a constantly changing wine, as the name suggests. The artwork on the label depicts the evolution from dinosaurs to raptors (another nod to the hawks). 💰 They give back! Is there anything better than beer with a view? This #WaterfallWednesday were heading to the oldest brewery in New York, @geneseebrewery. It also happens to have one of the best views! Genesee Brewery was founded in 1878 in downtown Rochester, right across from High Falls. And over 160 years later they are still serving up award-winning beers. Of course, you can get Genesee beers at your local grocery stores. But you can only try their experimental brews and the phenomenal brews right in Rochester. The first floor features the gift shop and pilot brewery. The second floor has a restaurant, and the rooftop has the views! If you ever need a good laugh, check out @dustinnickerson - he never fails to make me chuckle, mostly about the commiserations of being a millennial. So while I was debating how far I would travel to see him on tour, when he announced he was coming to Syracuse, I immediately put the date on my calendar and asked for tickets for Christmas. (Thanks to my FIL for getting them for us!) Tonight was that night and Dustin lived up to every expectation and I laughed more than I have in a long time. Cheers to a perfect Saturday night 👏🏼

It’s officially race season at @wgi1948! I was lucky enough to be invited to tonight’s pep rally to kick off the 2024 season at Watkins Glen International. It was extra special since this year marks the 75th anniversary of the track + the new president, @dawnburlew_wgi, is the first female president of WGI + I got to take a high-speed lap around the track in a pace car with professional @arca_racing driver @andy_jankowiak! Such an incredible night and I’m so glad to have watched history being made at one of the world’s best racetracks.
