Highlights

These are roses that a kind person remember to give to me on Sundays. During this time of the year, let’s cultivate gratitude. It benefits our brain and deepens relationships. In the past 6 years I had the great pleasure to deal with quite a few ungrateful and entitled individuals. I dedicated an entire book to one of them. Entitled individuals do not really look good, and they function even less good in the society. Whenever I addressed that with anyone of them, their answer has always been the same, despite these people did not know each other: “it was your choice to give. You should not expect anything in return.” Ouch… With that meaning, “you are giving  to me, I say thank you and I am done.” Of course, I give and do not expect “things” in return… but gratitude is highly appreciated and… guess what? Gratitude and kindness are free. Use them! Saying “thank you” doesn’t mean being grateful. Be kind to others and if anybody is spending even one second of their life for you, show to that person your gratitude and appreciation with your actions. Or else, you will only come across as an entitled idiot. #gratitudeattitude #gratitudejournal

If you want to become an Italian pianist your breakfast should necessarily include these items… 😇😇😇 @loackerusa @nutella @lavazzausa @gaggiamilano

Survey: somebody charged $99 to tune this piano. It took him 20 minutes the first time. We complained and he came back for another 20 minutes. He left the grand piano open…. he was surely in hurry. This is how it sounds AFTER his second tuning. Thoughts? I am thinking about changing career: $99 every 20 minutes makes $300/ hours- $2400/ day- $12,000/week- $48,000/ month- $576,000/ year. Why am I not tuning pianos in 20 minutes for a living????? #pianotuning #pianotuningandrepair #pianistsofinstagram #pianostudent #pianoteacher #pianist

First attempt of a student to imitate me in connecting the top voice of a sequence with the left hand. At least… she had fun! It is usually quite challenging at the beginning. #pianolessons #pianolessonsforkids #pianoteacher #pianoteacherlife

A student today said: “I practiced only this part really well, but at least I am a bit better than yesterday!” A small progress, but consistent in time, makes a huge difference. What is a challenge you overcome lately? #learningpiano #pianostudents #pianolessons #pianolessonsforkids
