Why Is Summer Planning so Overwhelming?

I feel like I’m in a neverending game of playing catch-up for what’s next for our family. For example, it’s early April and I’ve only registered our 9-year-old for ONE week of summer camp

6 Words That Are Off-Limits For Our Son

Many of you comment on the videos featuring our son on the Mommy Talk Show Facebook page or here on the show through YouTube, that A. J. is so comfortable on-camera. We even quit an organized activity last year because it wasn’t as organized as we wanted and although its goal was to teach respect, we didn’t feel like it was reinforced at our regular meetings. If A. J. wasn’t a respectful child or as he grows into his tween years (which tend to be rebellious), we will limit his extra activities and fun like when he missed a day of school in 2017 to be an extra in the Goosebumps 2 Movie. If I had my way, I’d change the state of race in the United States so that our son and all Black boys could be viewed as valuable instead of violent.

Keep Hands Clean On the Go with #WetOnes

I received free admission to Six Flags, attended an informational and complimentary luncheon, and received a gift bag and promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. We recently visited Six Flags over Georgia for the first time and I’m grateful there were Wet Ones antibacterial wipes handy when we rode the rides in the park and ate lunch. During our vist to Six Flags, we used Wet Ones antibacterial wipes 1. before meals/snacks 2. after meals/snacks 3. after A. J. touched the trash bin repeatedly Do you keep Wet Ones handy when your family is traveling?
