Brand Ambassadors: What Brands and Influencers Need to Know

It’s fine if there’s a bonus for sales I generate, but so much brand promotion now is on platforms like Instagram where I’m creating brand awareness without direct purchase links, or there’s a slower sales cycle where someone will see my post now but not make a purchase for months, without that revenue being tied to my promotion. In a case where absolute exclusivity doesn’t make sense, such as with a Middle Eastern airline that can’t transport you domestically, at the very least don’t do posts while flying other airlines and don’t agree to promotional agreements with other airlines. If I like a company and they like me, I want that relationship to last as long as possible, and a long-term mutually-beneficial partnership is always going to be better than a one-and-done partnership. Feel free to send an outbound pitch to a company that you like, but a lot of things need to come together for your pitch to be successful: the company needs to have a budget; an ambassador program needs to be something that they’ve thought about or that they can integrate into their current marketing plan; and you need to be the perfect fit.

Study Abroad: The Best Decision I Ever Made

Why You Should Study Abroad With the world so much smaller and more accessible, and with every major site in the world showing up on your Instagram feed every day, you may think that’s it’s not as important to study abroad as it was long ago. This world is full of amazing cultures and amazing people, and you’re only going to meet those people and experience those cultures (and have authentic food) by going abroad. You won’t notice it when you’re there, but when you return home your friends and family will see a different person – someone who’s more confident, someone who understands world events and their significance better, and someone who knows there’s more to life than what can be seen within 20 miles of where they grew up. I loved that summer living in the UiO dorms, traveling around Norway and meeting students from 90+ countries so much that I returned the next year and did it again, taking me to five total semesters studying abroad – two in Florence, one in Heidelberg, and two in Oslo.

The Best Cities in the World (Our 20 Favorite Cities Ranked)

We all rated 120+ cities that we’ve visited and this ranking of our favorite cities in the world is a de facto list of the Best Cities in the World See a Broadway show; walk from Wall Street to Central Park to see different neighborhoods; cross the Brooklyn Bridge; eat (our favorite restaurant is Osteria al Doge); and just enjoy the city and its parks. Favorite Hotels: We’ve stayed in over a dozen hotels around the city depending on how many kids we had with us and where we wanted to base. Visiting Arches National Park with Kids

You can still have a good visit, but I highly recommend heading to the park before sunrise, hiking early, and then leaving the park by 10am and returning after 5pm to hike more and enjoy sunset. It’s between Moab and the Arches entrance gate so the drive to the park is a few minutes shorter, and all of the cabins are distanced from each other so during a pandemic it felt nicely safe. It’s the iconic arch in the park, and it’s even on Utah’s license plates. When you’re driving into Arches National Park, the first parking lot you reach is for Park Avenue.
