While our baby W is only turning four months old and still happily fits in his infant car seat, J&I like to think ahead so we wanted to do some research and have his “big boy” car seat ready to go as soon as he’s ready for it. Here are the car seats we ended up considering: 1 | Maxi-Cosi® Pria™ 85 Convertible Car Seat in Devoted Black 2 | Diono® Rainier Convertible and Booster Car Seat in Midnight 3 | Maxi-Cosi® Rachel Zoe Special Edition Jet Set Pria 85 Convertible Car Seat 4 | Diono™ Radian® RXT Convertible Car Seat and Booster in Black Plum 5 We ended up being a bit torn between the Maxi-Cosi® Pria™ 85 and the Diono® Rainier Convertible car seats. I loved the Diono’s super narrow seat which makes it great for air travel but our great experiences with Maxi-Cosi® made us lean toward sticking with a brand we already know and trust.
