Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Carson Roberts began learning to play the ukulele at nine years old. He relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where Music City inspired him to channel his inner songwriter. He was a member of various vocal groups in the area: church choir, school choir, and choir at Vanderbilt University. He learned piano and guitar, as well as started showcasing his talents at numerous live music venues. His résumé includes The Listening Room, 3rd and Lindsley, Ryman Auditorium, Carnegie Hall, and many others. His songwriting tells special stories of life experiences. He describes all of his songs as chronological: a story from beginning to end. His vocals are recognizable anywhere, with a raspy, powerful sound that stretches more than four octaves. The unique sound of his own music draws on influence from Kacey Musgraves, fun., The Weeknd, Coldplay, and many others.
