Today Insomniac Events, creators of Electric Daisy Carnival, the world’s largest dance music festival, announced a partnership with Miami institution Club Space, one of the industry’s most respected and forward-thinking live music venues. “Space is one of the most iconic dance music venues in the US if not the world, and I’m excited that Insomniac is now a partner,” says Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella. By partnering together, Insomniac and Club Space will redefine the club experience and keep the pulse of dance music in downtown Miami. We believe that through this relationship with Insomniac we can continue to grow and secure our home at Space with a partner who has an aligned vision of the future of the Miami music scene.

Insomniac announced Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will make its journey back to South China for the second annual EDC Guangdong, which will once again transform the aquatic grounds of Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort into a neon playground for all the Headliners in attendance. Following the success of EDC Shanghai and EDC Guangdong, the two-day dance music festival will return on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 with its unparalleled celebration of music, art and community. In partnership with CMC Times Entertainment, the 2019 edition of EDC Guangdong will feature an even larger fan experience with new décor and interactive art installations, majestic theatrical performers, and new production elements. The announcement of the second annual EDC Guangdong comes after Insomniac’s recent news of expanding its international presence with the launch of Beyond Wonderland Bogotá and Escape: Psycho Circus Korea.

‘Big Time’, the song puts forth the dance-driven productions that have earned Louis The Child their position as one of the scene’s most buzzed about acts, coupled with samples from iconic X Games moments. The Child makes dance music history for being the first electronic duo asked to curate the X games anthem, spreading the light of the EDM culture to the masses. “Louis The Child’s concert in Aspen brought a fun, high-energy performance that was a great match for X Games fans,” said Tim Reed, Vice President, X Games. The X Games has never asked a dance music act to curate an anthem before; this will be the first ever electronic dance music theme song for the X Games which is a big step for the EDM community overall.
