I’m sure we can all agree that having customers pay full price and not need a discount in order to buy our work is an ideal situation. three times discount codes, sales, or promotions work well for handmade business owners. If you are moving in another direction creatively, need to clear inventory for whatever reason, or need a fast cash injection, running a sale might be useful! Promotions that include sales and coupons are tools in your business; use them thoughtfully with your business’s longevity in mind!

Signs You Are Underpricing Your Handmade Product

With the exception of busy seasons like Christmastime when you might be seeing a higher number of sales daily than you normally do, and you might occasionally feel a little UGH about that. If you cannot reinvest and do not see any path forward to that other than increasing your sales volume an unrealistic amount, then you are underpricing your handmade product, and you probably need to increase your prices asap. Feeling mentally inspired and physically in need of a break is a good kind of tired.
