Behind the Design: Floral of the Story

But, in all seriousness, our white-on-color takes on plants, flowers, and herbs felt so necessary in that they bring new life to our bags, accessories, and coolers. These patterns are artfully etched impressions of natural elements on functional, all-weather woven products that make daily life easier and a little more festive. This isn’t the rose and violet medley that lovingly graced your Aunt Karen’s sunroom sofa through the better half of the ‘90s. Travel Guide: Florida Panhandle

Our Chief Creative Officer, Deb Waterman Johns, and the SCOUT photography team recently traveled to the Florida panhandle for a little photoshoot (keep an eye out for some of the great shots), and we couldn’t be happier to report back on their travels. With all the recent talk of polar vortexes, winter weather warnings, and day after day of gray, everyone was definitely in need of some bright, fresh, and fun spring product and content, so it was only fitting that the team headed to one of the dreamiest destinations this side of the gulf where bare feet and sandy floors rule. We take breakfast uber-seriously at SCOUT, and spots like Black Bear Bread Co. in Grayton Beach are right up our alley. If you want to kick off spring right, treat yourself to something bright, like any of our newest bags, accessories, coolers, or storage from our Spring 2019 Collection.

Behind the Design: ColorBlocking

This white and yellow maxi from Anthropologie is like a happy glass of lemonade and perfect for keeping things breezy, easy, and bright on a warm day. is serving up all the charming picnic vibes and is the perfect example of a little different-color-same-pattern colorblocking. An ideal and guilt-free alternative would be to grab some happy colorblocks of your own in the form of our newest Warm Combo and Cool Combo patterns, available in the Kelly Wristlet or any of our other beautifully blocked accessories. So, put a little spring, a little zing, a little color-wham in your step with some SCOUT, y’all.
