Fadra Nally spent years working in the travel industry and technology sector before she started her lifestyle blog, All Things Fadra. She soon discovered that life behind a keyboard beats a corner window office any day of the week.
Since that time, she’s co-founded the women’s travel blog, She’s On The Go, and built relationships with brands like National Geographic, Embassy Suites, Hershey Resorts & Entertainment, Disney Parks, Beaches Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, and Loews Hotels. After hours and hours and hours of The Stand, I thought it might be time to weigh on on “who wore it best” by looking at the casting, the story, and the production of both old and new versions. While I think the story worked against the 2020 version of Randall Flagg, Skarsgaard brings a slight edge to the role. Although Nick was characterized very differently in the 2020 version (see my thoughts on story below), Henry Zaga (2020) matched the essence of who Nick was supposed to be. But they missed the encounters between Larry and Nadine, where she’s conflicted about her role with the Dark Man.
When you’re heading to a small town area known primarily for outdoor recreational activities (in this case, Raystown Lake), you don’t expect the most luxurious of accommodations. If you do like the social aspect of a bed & breakfast, you’ll have a chance to socialize with innkeepers, Aiden and Alora, a young couple who make the perfect team when it comes to guest hospitality and gourmet breakfasts! The front of the Mansion is located on Penn Street in downtown Huntingdon but you’ll find parking just behind the carriage house when approaching from Washington Street (a one way street so be sure to go the right way). And if you’re interested in the history, you’ll also find a notebook in the parlor complete with the history of Colonel Gage and the house.
Villas are also located on the main grounds of the resort but are generally a little smaller (with 2 or 3 bedroom options available) and a tropical view, as opposed to a golf or ocean view. You’ll also find a no entry pool, a family pool, a lazy river, a surprising fun water slide (that I rode about 10 times!) and a pool-sized hot tub. If the sun isn’t or thing (or rain, depending on the day), you’ll even find a indoor pool with a little quiet alcove of hot tubs nearby. Hammock Beach likes to joke that the biggest pool they have is the Atlantic Ocean (it’s a saltwater pool, of course).
The 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is big enough for a family SUV and rugged enough for off-roading. You’ll find that Toyota offers a few trim levels on the 4Runner: TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, and I actually really like that Toyota has put instructions in the driver’s side visor so that if you’re inexperienced and you forgot what the actual steps are, you won’t break anything.
