My results from a high school career test matched me to 9 out of 13 job fields. Narrowing it down was impossible! As an adult, I'm learning I don't have to choose. With ever growing interests, the opportunity to connect one way often allows connections elsewhere.

I'm a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist. Fitness is for everyone; how that is achieved is the variable. I'm a thrill seeker and outdoor adventure is often how I get my fitness in. Hiking, slacklining, and rock climbing top my favorites, with a goal to become an outdoor guide (AMGA), as well as earn a certificate for Wilderness First Responder (NOLS) and Route Setting (USA Climbing). I believe enjoying exercise is vital for improvements.

Deciding between mountains and water isn't easy either, as a former swimmer, instructor, and lifeguard. I taught babies to seniors at the most beginner level, and it taught me that growth is also for everyone. If you want to know what it feels like to be fearless, learn to be confident in the water. I love the freedom being underwater brings (can't wait to get scuba certified!).

Beach vibes aren't bad either. I'm a casual girl who doesn't mind salt in my hair and dirt on my hands. My background with sports has often collided with the performing arts. The creative in me sees projects everywhere and has always wanted to draw. Finding fashion design sketch classes on Skillshare, learning to letter, and juggling are a few hobbies acquired during covid quarantine.

Once, I made my NYE outfit, it was a long blue velvet slit skirt with matching halter. A bit of glam isn't bad, but mixed with strong lines and and rich hues. I've been an advocate for joggers long before the current craze and pairing them with Reebok Classics is an easy outfit choice. Like most women, I have a fondness for shoes and have rotating favorites.

All still works-in-progress. Much like myself, who some days thinks maybe I can be can be actress. I've have the privilege of being a part of the background and a stand-in for all of Dick Wolf's Chicago shows, mainly Chicago Med. While I don't necessarily have any acting chops, I wouldn't mind playing a character on screen or be crew member behind the scenes. The process of filmmaking is fascinating, and as a fan of movies/tv I think about going that direction.

Hint Hint: Any Stunt Teams out there looking for new talent?

I'm eager to embrace the process of a ambiguous career journey and the foundation to be built. I'd like to collaborate by sharing what works and by serving others. Feedback is a two-way street and I'm ready to build communication and relationships.

Highlights

A year ago today I snagged for my first legit trad lead on this 45m route “The Eye”. It only took 7 pieces, my partners entire rack and 45 minutes. It wasn’t as scary as a month ago today but definitely a better thrill.

Hey Abe. Thank you for conviction. Honestly, I’m beyond grateful to have taken my first trip to the Capital over New Years 2020, before Covid and before the current administration took office. The tone is quite different these days. Regardless, DC is a remarkable place and I’m proud of the triumphs and losses honored there.

2020 was what it was!

💥 Crutchin’ it! Thankful these are my last few days on crutches...and for America. Always. #crushit #reopenamerica

Burnt trees and wildflowers. One field; same but different. Resilient. Every tucked away space in @mesaverdenps is remarkable. Mesa Verde was discovered in the late 1800s and is the only park established to foremost preserve Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites. Inhabited as early as 7500 BC, the cliff dwellings and artifacts are mostly from the Basketmaker and Pueblo eras that saw people begin to love stationary lives and introduced things such as enclosed structures and farming.

Watching the sunset in Arches National Park concluded my grown-up, pandemic, summer vacation. It’s was the 11th park I’ve visited since June and twice what I’ve seen total! Each one vastly different from the next, it’s hard to imagine 45 more unique creations. My next journey is ACL surgery and rehab but if you want to see out-of-this-world landscapes check out @nationalparkservice tomorrow for a FREE DAY celebrating #nationalpubliclandsday

Found an edge. Stood on it. Sometimes it’s like that. Go out of the way and visit @blackcanyonnps

This week in Colorado, I’ve seen more alligators than Trump signs and more Trump signs than Biden signs. So, it’s been a weird trip. I’m not mad at those numbers though. 🇺🇸

Right now. All I need is a good t-shirt and snapback, the sunset, and I’m set.

What’s better than one IPA? Two IPAs. What’s better than two IPAs? A Cosmic Cowboy IPA on a river float. Get me back to Taos and Texas!

Longest cave system in the world and one of the oldest mountain ranges on this planet - America is blessed.

Ya girl was stoked for sunset in the Grand Tetons. Travel tip 101: don’t be a bum, take every opportunity to explore.

Trial breeds innovation, so let’s keep trying.

Some days I’m not sure I’m aging well for something from the 80s. Other days I turn a year older and just have to deal. Life is precious, get outside! 🤙🏽🥳🦖 Thanks for the ride @urbankayaks

I recommend you take time to sit back, observe, and soak up the moment. #OneTimeinNOLA
