If you are like some, needing to relocate for work or needing to move for personal reasons, you are already probably searching around everyone online for rentals and information. While I have always had my favorite ways of searching, I recently discovered Zumper so when a friend came to me asking for help looking for an apartment in the Houston, TX area, I knew Zumper was where I wanted to search. With so much uncertainty right now, it’s extremely important to do research and know information about the area you are searching so you have a good idea what to prepare for. My friend had no idea that the average rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in Houston, TX is currently $1,094 which is actually a 2% decrease compared to the previous year.
This set of pictures are from Monday, our “Round One” and when we got 7-10 inches of Snow. We are thankful to still have power and heat (although our electric company keeps posting about possible forced outages but it could be worse, it could be a lot worse). Groceries are starting to run a little low, I’m thankful my husband was able to get out just long enough yesterday to get my medicine (due to him being on work route he could not grab groceries or anything Many prayers for those in Texas, Arkansas and surrounding areas who are dealing with this winter storm.
I told my husband my scooping had been a mistake and I needed to correct it next time, he said maybe my mistake turned into a plus this time since the cookies turned out just right. If you like, you can add icing of your choice or add in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, pecans, get creative and have fun creating your own cookies! *additional items you can add: icing, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, pecans, etc. * once combined, either chill for 15-20 minutes or scoop out onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
I have several, the adorable heart one we used today as well as a little pumpkin one, a skull one and a regular one thats winter themed with little snowmen. Making cinnamon roll waffles is super easy, quick and one of Abby’s favorites things make with me. Word of caution, these mini waffle makers do get hot compared to regular size ones Cooking time will vary but I found with the Dash mini waffle maker that the cinnamon rolls need to cook for 2 minutes.
