This weekend has made my heart so happy 💕✨🌸 From dog sitting, finishing my first week at my new role, exploring and celebrating 10 years of friendship with taynavis 🤯 I couldn’t be happier! Brighter days are certainly ahead. 😊✨🌸💕

Sunny days at the vineyard 🍇🍷 Something you may not know about me is that I wasn’t really an alcohol person. I was always the DD and even when I turned 21, I was apprehensive to try anything. I had no idea what a good limit should be, what I should try and what I would even enjoy. As I have gotten older and have surrounded myself with incredibly supportive people who make me feel safe, I have branched out to try different drinks. Through this I have really learned what I like, what my limit is and what my body needs to really to enjoy these occasions. A couple of weekends ago we ventured out to wineryatbullrun for a wine tasting and it was just lovely! We had a wonderful server who took us through seven different wines (white and red) and told us what to taste for. It was such a cool experience to learn about how wine is made and what makes the different notes come through on some and not others. I highly recommend if you are in the area and interested in learning about wines in Virginia. All this to be said, I hope this encourages you to try new things and learn about the things that you maybe apprehensive about, you maybe surprised and find it is something you really enjoy. I do enjoy an occasional glass of wine and now I know that I like some red wines too! Plus is know what to pair them with if I do decide to have a glass. Spring has sprung in DC 🌸✨ Walking the Tidal Basin and seeing all the cherry blossoms was so beautiful! (However all the guides aren’t kidding about the crowds, it can be overwhelming so I HIGHLY recommend getting there as early as you can.) Getting to see tree after tree in full bloom was so breath taking and I was really reminded of why cherry blossoms are my favorite flower 😊 #dc #cherryblossoms #travelcontentcreator

Entering my 30s era✨ Thirty. That’s crazy. It’s crazier to say that I’m here and how much I have done in my twenties. I know I have recapped that over the years but it still blows me away. Pulling the photos for this post that anchor different eras (in my 20s specifically) really made me go back to those times and think of who I was and how much I have grown since then. She is now confident, self-assured (most days), driven, determined, empathetic, kind, bubbly and over all herself. I mean I’m not perfect, I do have those days of self doubt but who doesn’t? We’re all human. But now I take those days with grace (the best I can) and ask for help when I need it. Something that I had a really hard time with, and still do from time to time but we are getting better. All in all, I’m excited for my 30s. I feel a level of confidence I have never felt before and I’m ready to pursue it head on and to whatever lies ahead. Ready to begin, let the wonder take hold✨ I’m so excited to share that I have relocated to the DMV! It’s been a crazy journey to get here but I’m beyond thrilled for all the new opportunities this move brings. I have gotten to explore this area I call home and I’m already in love. What a colorful and miraculous day 🎨✨ As many of you already know, Festival of the Arts is one of my favorite festivals and getting to see it all on opening weekend with some wonderful company was nothing short of magical. I am sad of how this festival has changed over the years to not get as much love as the others but I will certainly be back to enjoy more of the festival! A few favs of today: ✨ THE MURALS! You can’t beat an adventure in the Bahamas 🌴 Our sail day and our first full day which included a bus tour in New Providence was incredible. If you ever get the chance to take a scenic bus tour through Royal Caribbean off the port of Nassau I couldn’t recommend it enough! The staff is so nice and our tour guide was amazing! Just a few of the highlights: ✨ views of downtown ✨ a stop at the famous Rum Cake factory (along with a shot of rum) ✨ a stop at Atlantis ✨ a stop at John Watling’s Distillery I’m not a huge alcohol person but there was some amazing history we got to learn about and the culture and life on the island. I cannot stop talking about this experience and just how fun it was. A little fun fact that I’m curious if you know..how many islands make up the Bahamas? It is bigger than you think!
