🇪🇸 Spain has something for everyone! There’s so much variety in landscape, food, and culture in such a relatively small area. 🎉 You just need to go and figure out which places and regions you like best! I’ve spent a lot of time exploring Spain, and of all the places I’ve traveled, it’s still my favorite 🌍. I spent the majority of my time in Valencia, so I’m a bit biased towards it, but I think it’s justified 😀! You might be wondering why Madrid and Barcelona didn’t make my list… 🧐 While I do recommend visiting them, they just weren’t my vibe personally. I’m a fan of the beach towns and Andalucía most it seems! ☀️ Have you been to Spain? Do you have a favorite city? 👇🏼 #spain❤️ #visitspainofficial #valenciaspain #valenciagram #sevillagram #cordobaespaña #toledospain #bilbaoturismo #calpebeach #peñiscola #segoviaspain #mallorcaisland

Full transparency here! 🙈 What did I spend on a 10 day Scotland road trip? Read below- Thankfully my husband is a data analyst, so he kept track of every penny in a detailed spreadsheet (😂) which I later organized to figure this out! ⭐️ Keep in mind this is for the cost of ONE person, assuming you are splitting it with one or more other people (if you’re married and share a bank account it doesn’t really matter, 😂 but stick with me!) ⭐️ 🏨LODGING: We stayed in budget or midrange hotels ranging from $85/nt to $175/nt. We did a combination of hotels (via bookingcom), AirBNB and one private room in a hostel. This cost us $390 total per person, or $39/day 🍽FOOD/GROCERIES: We did a combination of grocery shopping, eating included meals from our lodgings, and going to restaurants or pubs. We only ate at one “expensive” spot the whole trip, and tried not to go too crazy. Excluding alcohol (which yes, would add a lot! 😅) our meals and snacks ended up at $280 total per person, or $28/day 🚙TRANSPORT: If you don’t do a road trip of Scotland, this would be significantly cheaper. However, car is what we wanted! Using our costco membership, our rental was $580 total. If you split this cost, it would be $58/day or about $29 per person per day. ⛽️GAS & PARKING: This added up, I’ll admit. 🙃 We did drive around 1,200 miles total, though! Between gas and parking in the bigger cities where it wasn’t free, we spent a total of $375, or about $19 per person per day. 🎟ATTRACTIONS/TICKETS/EXCURSIONS: We spent a total of $250 on things like admission to historic sites, fun activities, walking tours, etc. This would be about $25/day, or about $13 per person each day. Some days we spent far more than others, but overall it was nothing too bad. ⭐️These prices do NOT include alcohol, souvenirs, or the round trip ferry ticket we purchased to go to Orkney. I didn’t include that as it was a splurge and isn’t necessarily typical for most people doing a roadtrip here.⭐️ What questions do you have? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 #scotland_insta #scotlandtravel #visitscotland #budgettravel #discoverscotland #scotland_greatshots

Don’t visit Gatlinburg… …without going to anakeesta ! 😇 This outdoor family themed park is located on a mountaintop above the Gatlinburg strip. 🏔 You take a chairlift up, and can immediately enjoy epic Smoky Mountain views. Once you’re in, you can enjoy a series of hanging bridges, a treetop canopy walk, 🌳 tree houses, zip lining, overlook towers, a splash pad, food and drink, live music, and so much more! 🎉 They also do a big lights show at nighttime during the holiday season 🎄 We had a great time here and definitely recommend it as one of the top things to do in the area! #gatlinburg #gatlinburgtennessee #smokymountains #smokymountainsnationalpark #anakeesta #budgettravel #familytravel #travelwithtoddler #visittennessee #usatravel #instagramtennessee Our tickets were complimentary, courtesy of the Gatlinburg Attractions Association 🌟

Follow chelletravelfoto for more travel itineraries and inspiration ✨ If only we could travel that easily- just touch the spot on the globe and boom we’re there! 🌎 My trip to Orkney was too short, but I’m still glad we were able to go! Make sure to check out these cliffs while you’re there. ⛴ We took the ferry from Scrabster to Stromness (northlink_ferries I have another reel detailing that), and then we came back to stay at one of the coolest AirBNBs ever (also another reel of mine!) 💕 Any questions about visiting Orkney? 👇🏼 #orkney #orkneyislands #scotland_insta #scotland_lover #scotland_ig #budgettraveller #scotlandtravel #visitscotland #yesnabycliffs

How many have you been to? 👻 These are just a few of many haunted spots in the tri-state area (Kentucky/Ohio/Indiana) 🪦. I have a detailed blog post with these and more places on my website. ⭐️ www.greatwidetravel.com/haunted⭐️ I also turned these into a “haunted road trip” route that basically goes in a big circle- the map is on the post too! 🗺 Whether or not you truly believe in ghosts, these places still have interesting back stories and are fun to explore! 💀 👻 🪦 #cincinnati #cincinnatiohio #visitcincy #hauntedplaces #kentuckygram #hauntedlocations #waverlyhillssanatorium #hauntedhistory

Bonus points if you can spot tiny me at the edge of the cliff! 🎉 We took the ferry from Scrabster to Stromness for the day. The ride to the Orkney islands was about 2 hours, but the boat was very nice and of course great views! ⛴ Once we arrived, we used our car (that came along on the ferry) to explore the island and see sites such as ancient Skara Brae, the Standing Stones of Stenness, the Ring of Brodgar, the town of Kirkwall and the Yesnaby Cliffs. #orkney #orkneyislands #yesnabycliffs #ferryboat #scotland_greatshots #scotland_insta #scotland_lover #scotland_ig #visitscotland #scotlandtravel #scotlandsbeauty #droneworld

Follow chelletravelfoto for more travel itinerary ideas! 👈🏻 I know it goes fast on this reel, but I promise the actual itinerary still allows plenty of time to really see and soak in many activities these places have to offer! 🌎 In a 2 week road trip through Arizona and Utah, we were able to see 📍The Grand Canyon grandcanyonnps 📍Zion zionnps 📍Bryce Canyon brycecanyonnps_gov 📍Canyonlands canyonlandsnps 📍Arches archesnps 📍Capitol Reef capitolreefnps We did a combination of staying in hotels 🏨, camping ⛺️ at designated campsites, and one night with a backcountry camping permit 🏕. We were able to do some epic hikes like The Narrows, Delicate Arch and Bright Angel trail. 🥾 We saw insane natural beauty, and it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the world I’ve ever been! No hate to the digital nomads, remote workers, and I-quit-my-job-to-travel folks (I technically did that in 2012 so I get it 😇), honestly I’d love to be you, but it’s just not that season of life for me 💕 If you are just an “average person”, maybe living on the suburbs, not making tons of cash but making enough, 💵 don’t have unlimited vacation time, and maybe have kids or other obligations to not leave home for long chunks of time- I got you! 💁🏻‍♀️ You can still travel and explore, 🌎 it just might look different from some of the many curated photos in this app. Hopefully my page will inspire you, and give you some ideas! 🎉 #budgettravel #budgettraveller #kentuckyblogger #suburbanlife #travelblogger #sahmomlife #travelgram #travelreels

Best Tacos in Cincinnati (+ Latin Food!)

Here is our list, in no particular order: Their “tacos dorados” are easily among the best I’ve had in my life. If you love Mexican food and are looking to mix it up a bit, but still want something that’s incredibly tasty and flavorful, make sure you give this place a try! Serving “build your own” tacos in an “order up” style, the benefit of Mi Burrito is being able to fully customize your dream taco. – Located in the trendy area of OTR, this restaurant is great for a date night while simultaneously having insanely delicious food.

African Safari: Plan Your First Experience

Imagine feasting your eyes on majestic animals and exotic game like you’ve never seen before – all close-range and under the warm blanket of the sun. For example, Tanzania offers a rich diversity of wildlife that you can enjoy from close range – giraffes, water buffaloes, elephants, ostriches, and more. You’ll be treated to a 4WD-driven experience (among other options) through the safest spots for observing wildlife in their natural habitats. For me, being in a jeep all day on bouncy dirt roads, I found it most comfortable to wear moisture-wicking pants , and a t-shirt with breathable fabric.

5 Amazing Things to do in France

If you want to have a memorable experience at this location however, I suggest visiting the tower in the early evening hours. You can spend a day trailing through the fields in Sault and taking photos that’ll leave your social media friends in envy. The route to this location may not be the easiest, but the breath-taking view and wonderful swimming experience are worth any pain in your feet. If you happen to visit Paris, don’t leave without taking this scenic boat tour, as you will pass by the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Musee D’Orsay, the Louvre, the Place de la Concorde, and other beautiful landmarks of France along the way.
