February is the month of love and black excellence. To say being alive is a blessing is an understatement for me. This time last year my body was giving up on me and it was a whole month later when I realized it.Year 36 started off rough. Right after my birthday I ended up in ICU, looking back fighting for my life even though it didn’t feel like it at the time. Lessons were learned in every aspect of my life. There were some highs and lows but those are all apart of the process. To have a chance every day when I open my eyes. A chance to make a difference. A chance to give something amazing to the world. What I’ve given to the world may not make headlines but it’s valued. I appreciate the spoken and unspoken. With that being said, I look at Chapter 37 with so much Gratitude.
