South Korea travel: Reuniting with my family in Seoul

When you look at all of the guide books and speak with people who have been to Seoul before, all of them recommend trips to Gyeongbokung Palace and Jogyesa Temple. As you can see, we tried to pack as much in to our short trip to Seoul and we all came away saying it was the best trip we’d had in ages. If you’re looking for a place to spend some time with family I would definitely recommend South Korea. I flew with my mum direct to Seoul with British Airways while my Australian family flew with Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong.

Brecon Beacons waterfalls: How to get there and what to take

I took a day trip to the Brecon Beacons waterfalls, including the one you can walk behind. We came extra prepared with walking boots, raincoats and a cracking packed lunch – and a dog (a very good boy) to keep us company. A lot of people on the walk seemed to be wearing casual trainers and some people on Trip Advisor said people had attempted the trail in flip flops! The car park doesn’t have a toilet let alone a cafe or anything so remember to bring food and water with you.

London to Cambridge day trip: How to get there and what to see and do

But it’s also a really beautiful city that has both history and wide green open spaces. During the tour, you’re given information about the universities and the rest of the city’s history. My favourite spot was The Backs, which is a walk around the back (funnily enough) of some of the town’s main universities. Some of the best streets in the city include All Saint’s Passage, Trinity Lane and Boltoph Lane.

Harry Potter London: The best experiences in the capital

Harry Potter has been a big success from the books to the films and now London is full of places to disappear into the wizarding world, from afternoon teas to some locations from the films. On the outskirts of London you’ll find the Warner Bros studios, home to sets and props from the films. ’re there, it’s worth stopping by St Pancras station which doubles as Kings Cross station in the films. Two of the top spots are Millenium Bridge on the Southbank which is attacked by a gang on death eaters in the films and also Scotland Place which is home to a telephone box that is the entrance to the Ministry of Magic in the film.
