Mothering is a BEACH!

It would have been cute if he didn’t like it, but he sat there shoveling it in his mouth. Now that he is mobile I find myself dressing more practically since it’s all about comfort and moving quick! One of my favorite summer trends has been eyelet, and I was excited to find this cute blouse at Zara on sale for $25. To be honest I’m not even sure it’s a cover-up, however I wore it as such, and it was the perfect material for a day at the beach.

Being a first time mom has brought me so much joy and exhaustion, taught me patience and filled our house with more love than we could ever imagine. My husband and I recently took a trip to Seattle and as soon as I landed I fell in love with the Emerald City! The next day we took a ferry to Bainbridge, which is an island a few miles from Seattle. We also found out where the word “skid row” came from, and because we took the night tour we learned about the booming business of prostitution during that time!
